Pennsylvania: Military Occupational Crosswalk established
A new law in Pennsylvania aims to ease licensing burden for military service members, veterans, and spouses by waiving initial licensure fees, providing expedited application review and temporary licensing options, and adjusting license expiration and continuing education timelines in response to deployment. A Military Occupational Crosswalk is established to match military experience to requirements for civilian licensed professions, using the threshold of "substantially equivalent." The tool will help veterans identify gaps in training, education, and experience before attempting to apply for licensure.
