Kansas joins Alliance for States Providing Interoperable Reciprocity
Kansas has become the first state to join ASPIRE, the new Alliance for States Providing Interoperable Reciprocity. ASPIRE aims to address barriers faced by service members and military spouses when seeking licensure as they frequently move across state lines. ASPIRE "creates credential reciprocity among states, making it easier for members of the military and their spouses to work, thereby widening the labor market for employers across participating states." ASPIRE was launched by technology company, Merit, which issues digital licenses and credentials.
