Philippines: licensure exam passers eligible for civil service positions
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced that individuals who pass bar or licensure exams are automatically recognized as civil service eligibles, exempting them from the 2025 civil service exams. This includes those who pass the bar exams, Shari’a Bar, and professional licensure exams conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission and Maritime Industry Authority. Eligible individuals can apply for both first- and second-level government roles without additional verification. Furthermore, they are exempt from the master’s degree requirement for executive roles relevant to their professional field.
