Philippines extends validity period of professional registrations

A bill passed unanimously in the Philippines legislature will extend the validity period of professional identification cards and certificates of registration issued by the Professional Regulation Commission to five years versus the current three years. The policy is intended to ease pressure on the PRC by spreading out the number of renewals over a longer period of time.
