Georgia Works Licensing Commission established

Georgia's Secretary of State has formed a new commission to review Georgia's business licensing process, identify barriers, and remove unnecessary requirements in order to streamline the process. Challenges faced by specific populations - military spouses and justice-impacted people - will be focused on. The Secretary of State office already has plans for an online license application system to be launched this fall. A report from the commission is planned to be available for the General Assembly's 2024 session.
