Pennslyvania: Senate approves timeline changes for issuing permits

The Pennsylvania Senate has approved a bill requiring state agencies to make changes to their permitting timelines and process. Agencies would be required to have a website where applicants can check their application status. In addition to strict timelines for application review and decision (including an option for 3rd party review), the legislation would also establish that a permit application is deemed approved if the agency misses the deadline.
