UK report considers advanced practice roles

Independent research commissioned by the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council found that more professionals are practicing in advanced practice roles but also found great variation in how these roles are practiced, with no clear definition of "advanced practice" and no consistency in standards of education. The NMC Council will review the report and continue to consider further research to help inform recommendations for advanced practice regulation.
