Nevada: executive order to review and eliminate regulations
The governor of Nevada has issued an executive order "requiring all executive branch entities to review existing state regulations and recommend at least ten to be removed by May 1." Agencies will be required to hold public hearings with "key industry stakeholders" before recommending which regulations to remove. A second executive order prohibits occupational and professional licensing boards from creating new regulations "that limit people from entering ny occupation in the state" and directs that any occupation that is licensed in fewer than 25 states will have licensing requirements phased out in Nevada by July 1.
