Maryland: security guard licensing requirements

Maryland has announced new requirements that businesses that employ security guards or loss prevention personnel must license these employees as security guards, and the employer must register online with the Maryland State Police Licensing Division. Beginning January 1, all licenses in the Police Licensing Division will transition to electronic format.
