Maine DPFR announces new Commissioner

The Maine Senate has confirmed the appointment of Joan Cohen as Commissioner of the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. Cohen served as Deputy Commissioner since 2019 and as acting Commissioner since the November 2024 retirement of former Commissioner Anne Head.
