Kentucky: doctor wins case over unsubstantiated complaint
A doctor in Kentucky has won a case against a healthcare employer after being ordered to undergo evaluation without first being informed about allegations against him while in a medical residency program. The suit also claimed breach of contract and interference with business activities, as the doctor was required to sign an order that could be a "red flag" to prospective employers. Two supervising doctors had initially confirmed that the doctor was not impaired and the complaint was unsubstantiated.
