Georgia: teacher regulator to remove terms "diversity," "inclusion"

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission has voted to remove what they call "ambiguous terms" such as "diversity," "equity," and "inclusion" from the rules and program standards that govern teacher education programs. The vote follows a directive from the University System of Georgia "to remove or simplify words that in recent years have taken on multiple and unintended meanings."
