Pennsylvania considers changes to engineering licensure requirements

A bill under consideration in Pennsylvania would allow the engineering licensing board to evaluate candidates' qualified experience in other states independent of when the applicant obtained their engineer-in-training certificate in Pennsylvania. The law currently requires four or more years of engineering work after receiving the certificate, but the bill would allow prior work experience to count.
