Connecticut joins Interstate Medical Licensure Compact and PSYPACT
Effective October 1, Connecticut will join the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact and PSYPACT. If physicians meet certain eligibility requirements, including holding an unrestricted license in a participating compact state and having no history of discipline, they can apply for licensure in other participating states through IMLC's uniform application process. For psychologists, PSYPACT authorizes eligible licensees to practice telepsychology for an unlimited amount of time in participating states where they are not licensed, as well as 30 days per year of in-person services.
