Alabama: sunset review of pharmacy board

The Alabama Joint Sunset Committee's review of the Alabama Board of Pharmacy highlighted 14 significant issues, including discrepancies in fees that are charged, deferral agreements to drop a violation if a higher fine is paid, and discrepancies in how income is reported. The board secretary indicated that the board is already working to remedy some of the issues and other changes in practice had been approved by the Alabama Attorney General.
