As part of its mission, CLEAR provides training across four learning tracks:
Learning Track
Investigators & Inspectors
Since 1984, CLEAR's National Certified Investigator & Inspector Training (NCIT) has set the standard for regulatory investigation and inspection training. The NCIT Basic and Specialized Programs are hands-on training and certification programs in investigation and inspection techniques and procedures that have been attended by more than 25,000 professionals. Additional topic-specific programs are available covering sexual misconduct investigations, drug diversion, communications, and ethics for the regulatory investigator.

Learning Track
Board / Council Members & Chairs
A structured pathway from prospective service through advanced governance. Board Member Training is offered in-person, online, and via webinar, and can be brought directly to your jurisdiction. The curriculum covers Foundations of Occupational and Professional Regulation, Roles and Responsibilities of a Board Member, Administrative Rulemaking, Professional Discipline, and Assessing Competence. An advanced offering addresses in-depth topics for experienced board members, and CLEAR offers a dedicated program for board chairs as well as an asynchronous course for individuals considering service on a regulatory board or council.

Regulatory Administrators & Staff
The premier source of leadership, administration, and foundational training for regulators worldwide. This track offers programming that ranges from introductory microlearning for anyone working in the regulatory space to workshop-based leadership development and practical board staffing skills for experienced administrators. Whether you are new to regulation or a seasoned executive, this track provides the tools and knowledge to strengthen your practice.

CLEAR Call Webinars
A series of 1.25-hour virtual presentations on topics of current interest to the regulatory community. Participate live or purchase a recording. Each session concludes with an off-the-record Q&A and open discussion. Webinars are scheduled throughout the year at times convenient to an international audience across time zones.
