Nebraska: reports on regulatory modernization
The Platte Institute has introduced resources to modernize Nebraska's regulatory and occupational licensing systems. These include a proposed Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act to enhance oversight of high-cost regulations, a report detailing progress and strategies for reducing red tape, and recommendations for improving licensing transparency and fairness. The initiatives aim to simplify regulations, foster economic growth, and empower residents by removing bureaucratic barriers. The reforms emphasize accountability and long-term competitiveness for the state.
