Georgia: licensing review committee holds first meeting

A Georgia Blue-Ribbon committee formed to investigate the Professional Licensing Boards Division has held its first meeting. Active licenses in Georgia have increased 24% in the last six years, while funds allocated to service the boards have increased by only 5%. many complaints have been received about the new online licensing system. The committee plans to meet throughout the year to collect feedback from Georgia's workforce.
