Architecture: updated tri-national MRA

The Organizations of Architecture in Canada (ROAC), Mexico’s Comité Mexicano para la Práctica Internacional de la Arquitectura (COMPIAR), and the U.S. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) have jointly launched an updated tri-national mutual recognition agreement to allow mobility of licensed architects among the three countries. The years of post-licensure experience required to take advantage of the agreement have been reduced from 10 years to five years, and the citizenship requirement has been eliminated. The updated MRA also allows for recognition of architects who have been licensed following alternative pathways to licensure.
