Iowa proposal to drop bar exam for graduates of in-state law schools: comment period ends; hearings scheduled

A State-Bar supported proposal by the Iowa Blue Ribbon Committee on Legal Education and Licensure to allow students successfully completing three years of specified law school course work at Drake University Law School or the University of Iowa College of Law to be admitted to the Iowa Bar without being required to take a bar exam, has completed its comment period.


Delaware Governor signs bill to streamline licensing process for veterans

Delaware Governor Jack Markell has signed House Bill 296 into law, allowing licensing boards to recognize military education, training, and experience when reviewing credentials and issuing licenses.
