The amount of information collected through professional regulation, and the technology with which that information is collected, viewed and applied, continue to evolve. The need to examine these evolutions and develop purposeful practices around them can be challenging for a regulatory body. How can an organization ensure that they are collecting the data they need (and ensuring privacy of that data where appropriate) as well as be prepared for new technology that may evolve its profession and/or affect its role in public protection?

Information in professional regulation—the technology used to gather it, the amount of data stored, how data is viewed and applied—continues to evolve.  Developing purposeful practices can be challenging. How does an organization ensure that it is collecting the data needed while ensuring data privacy where appropriate? How does an organization prepare for new technology and how will these changes affect regulation’s role in public protection?  Join international colleagues in regulation in examining current issues in data privacy, predictive analysis, artificial intelligence and the evolution of practice to forecast what may be coming next. View the draft agenda.
