Evaluation criteria include:
- Contribution impact - judged on the scope and impact of enhancing a broader public understanding of regulatory issues
- Professional attributes - Achievement Orientation: a concern for surpassing a standard of excellence; Strategic Orientation: the ability to consider the business, demographic, political and regulatory implications of decisions and develop strategies that improve the long-term success and viability of an organization's consumer protection mission; Impact and Influence: the ability to persuade, convince, effectively negotiate, influence or impress others (individuals or groups) in order to ensure the support of consumer protection; Creative use of professional associations and/or professional publications resulting in increased implementation or understanding of consumer protection
